Marketing Executive  

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience

Location: Edge of Exeter (near Greendale Farm Shop)

 

About The Role:

This is a very exciting opportunity for a creative and talented individual to join our small, fast-paced team, with the potential to grow with our brand.

You’ll have at least two years digital marketing experience under your belt, a proven track record of creating engaging and high performing social media content and have lots of fresh and exciting ideas to contribute to our continued growth, positioning us as the go-to clothing brand for timeless British, coast and countryside inspired style.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

We’re a small team and so at times everyone has to be prepared to get stuck into a bit of everything, but your core areas of this role will focus on creating content for organic social media, creating marketing emails, graphic design, assisting with marketing campaigns, assisting with photoshoots and attending key brand events.

 

• Organic Social Media - This will be a core focus of the role. You’ll assist with the day-to-day running of our social media channels. Working closely with the Creative Director and Marketing Manager, you’ll plan, film, edit and create organic social media content, with the objective of driving engagement and reach. Paying particular attention to Instagram Reels and TikTok.

You'll have your finger on the pulse of all things new in the social media world, and be quick to suggest new and emerging channels, platform functions and trends that will work well for our brand.

• Copywriting – you’ll have strong written skills, with a natural ability to produce creative, engaging captions and longer form copy to support social media content and other marketing material. 

• Events -  Attend and support key brand events throughout the year (around 6 a year).

• Design – Produce eye-catching, creative, graphics for print, emails and landing pages.

• Email Marketing – You’ll help plan and create beautiful and engaging emails, testing new designs and flows to optimise conversion.

• Marketing Campaigns - Assist in the planning, development and execution of marketing campaigns and channel specific strategies.

• Photoshoots – Assist with brainstorming fresh ideas and creative concepts for our 4-5 shoots per year. You will help source props, organise locations, models and all other logistics.

• Reporting – Report on the marketing channels you help manage and deliver weekly and monthly updates.

 

Required skills & experience:

• At least two years digital marketing experience
• At least two years of relevant organic social media experience – proven track record of creating engaging and high performing social media content.
• Video creation – you’ll have a good amount of experience filming high quality video content, shot on a phone, ideally with previous experience of using a mobile gimbal.
• Video editing – Experienced in editing engaging videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok using either Premier Pro or Premier Rush, plus in app editing.
• A creative and confident copywriter
• Can easily and confidently create beautiful graphics using either Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and/or Canva.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience creating engaging marketing emails, segmenting data and creating flows.
• Genuine interest in our brand and what we stand for.

Hours

Full time (37.5 hours a week). Monday – Friday.

Occasional weekend working during events. Time in lieu will be given for any weekend working.

You’ll need to be located within a commutable distance to our office, located on the edge of Exeter, close to Greendale Farm Shop.
