Beaumont & Bear and NFU Mutual raise over £3,000 for agricultural charity Yellow Wellies

Beaumont & Bear x NFU Mutual Collaboration

 On Thursday 21st July, countryside clothing brand Beaumont & Bear launched a special, one month collaboration with the NFU Mutual to raise awareness and support for the British farming and agricultural industry. Together, they have raised over £3,025 for agricultural charity the Farm Safety Foundation, also known as Yellow Wellies.

 As part of the campaign, Beaumont & Bear released two limited edition t-shirts featuring stunning illustrations commissioned by countryside illustrator Doodling Lucy with 100% of profits from these t-shirts donated to Yellow Wellies. A charity, dedicated to supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of farmers across the UK.

 The charity t-shirts sold out very quickly, with Beaumont & Bear announcing a sell out within 48hrs of their release.

 A series of short videos were also released featuring inspiring individuals from the agricultural and farming industries providing insight into the highs and lows of farming in 2022.

 Co-Founder & Creative Director, Clare comments “We have been absolutely blown away by the response to our campaign. Mental health and farm safety are two huge topics which really aren’t talked about enough. Our clothing is very popular with farmers and agricultural workers. With the loyal social media following we have amassed, we felt it is was our duty to use our platform to promote such an important message. Due to the huge response we have received, we plan to make this an annual campaign and already have plans on making it even bigger for next year, so keep your eyes peeled.”

 Figures from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reveal agriculture has the worst rate of fatal injuries of all the main industry sectors.
